Even the most talented photographers and the most beautiful models can use a little help sometimes. The imaging staff at John Taylor Dismukes & Associates are experts in retouching, image editing, color correction and compositing. From fashion and glamour photography to products and studio shots, our team can manipulate reality to enhance and transform your images.
In this example for Coors Light, we employed a variety of techniques to improve and enhance the image. The model’s skin tones were given a warmer, sun-kissed glow. Her hair was rearranged slightly, and her curves were adjusted to give her a narrower waistline and enhance her figure. Her legs were made even more shapely, and her knees were smoothed and refined.
With the model now even more lovely, our team reworked the background elements of the composition. The chair to her right was removed, and the brick wall behind her was extended. Streaks on the wall were removed, and the spotlight shining on the model was brought into tighter focus and given a sparkling effect. To bring attention to the product, a neon Coors Light sign was added to the image, and the bottle that the model is holding was replaced with a retouched version that was photographed separately.
Finally, the overall exposure and color balance was adjusted to enhance the colors and make the image “pop”.
